The Story

Something Missing From Your Fitness Regimen?

This was a big problem for us for years. We thought fitness meant working out at the gym and that’s it.

We both loved being active and moving. For example, she loved running and I loved bodyweight movements. However, we were so bored and tired of lifting weights and running on the treadmill but that was all we knew. We were doing everything we thought we “should do” as adults staying fit.

There was no more creativity, no more playfulness, no more friendly competition. We wanted our lifestyle and personality to match my health and fitness goals.

And don't get me started with adulthood! As a kid, we played many sports. As an adult, it feels as if play comes second. Not to mention the weight of responsibilities that take priority and you feel as if you are slowing down more and more each day. We were about to give up.

This All Changed

For me, when I dropped off my niece at gymnastics and was amazed at how these young kids were performing flips and tricks like it was easy. I thought “If kids could do it, I could too!" There were only classes for adults once a week but I soon learned how to front flip and the feeling was incredible. This was it, the lifestyle that I wanted. Eventually I got to coach the gymnastics competitive team and teach what I was learning myself.

For her, she was already into sports her entire life. However, moving to Canada from Brazil made it much harder being in a new place, new language, and starting back from zero. The typical gym was the only real option at the time. When we starting dating, we showed each other our love for movement. She showed me running outdoors and I showed her parkour and ninja warrior. She instantly fell in love (with me and the sports) and found a way to train in a functional and fun way together.

Just The Beginning

Our passion for all movements led us to many new sports. Over the years we coached rock climbing, parkour and gymnastics from local athletes to international competitive athletes. We were able to be top competitors in Running, OCR and Ninja Warrior in Canada and Brazil. We also took people who have not played sports in years and turned them into international competitors.

What Was Missing

Trying to find a coach or program that will take anyone with the right mindset and treat them like a competitive athlete was difficult. We wanted more people to develop strength, flexibility and mastery over their bodies to train like competitive athletes and get the habits and lifestyle along with it. It took us years to find it ourselves. What Equipment Do I Need?

All you need is something to hang from. We recommend gymnastics rings. This allows you to as train outside which is fantastic!

Am I Strong Enough?

There is no strength or skill prerequisite. It does not matter if you can do 1 pushup or 100, each workout has progressions for all fitness levels. You’ll be provided with ways to train within your specific limits and thrive within them until you are ready to shine like a pro! What you need is the right mindset to be willing to do the work. Anyone can become strong, not everyone is willing.

Is Anyone Allowed To Join?

No, not everyone. You must have the right mindset and the willingness to unlock your full potential. We want both our goals to align.

If you are looking for a traditional workout program, this is not for you.

If you are looking for big muscles but not movement, this is not for you.

What Is An Awesome Bodyweight Athlete?

Will I Learn A Specific Sport (Calisthenics, Parkour, etc)

Awesome! Ninja Fitness will allow you to learn the strength, skills, and freedom of movement from many disciplines that we have experience in which include gymnastics, parkour, calisthenics, rock climbing and ninja warrior.

This bulletproof foundation will allow you to learn the skills and movements of other disciplines. The skills you will be learning will also be based on your specific goals.

Is Nutrition And Habits Included?

Yes, it is.

You are a Functional Bodyweight Athlete and will gain the habits to go with it. That means learning how to have an easy-to-follow nutrition plan that won’t break your brain or your budget.

That also means learning the habits of an athlete including motivation and discipline. It also includes lifestyle habits.
